This auction is for a used but FAIR condition MN Minnesota metal chauffeur license button that says 1945 MINNESOTA LICENSED CHAUFFEUR # 17486 L'E TOILE DU NORD (that means Star of the North and is the motto for the State of Minnesota).  The badge shows the Minnesota state seal insignia and the State Capitol Building.  THE FRONT HAS SOME AGE WEAR SURFACE SCRATCHES AND TWO "BUMPS" WHERE THE BACK OF THE PIN PUSHED AGAINST THE FRONT!  THE EDGE HAS SOME MOTTLING SPOTS!  THE BACK HAS SOME RUSTY TARNISHING!   The edge says WESTERN BADGE & NOV. ST. PAUL 2 MINN.  The back has a straight pin that locks into position.  The chauffeur license measures about 1 7/16" diameter.  THIS EXPIRED CHAUFFEUR LICENSE IS SOLD ONLY AS A COLLECTIBLE OR FOR PERSONAL USE AND NOT FOR REPRODUCTION!  This would make a nice item for an automobile bus taxi hack truck license plate tag badge button collector, or for a restored 1945 car, or a gift.
