    Description

GREETINGS!  I am pleased to offer a vintage, heavy, Dy Dee Baby drink & wet doll made in the U.S.A. by Effanbee in the late 1930's early 1940's.  Her hard plastic swivel head has adorable baby molding with molded hair, full well rounded cheeks, a turned up nose, a hint of painted brows, thick brush lashes over weighted green plastic sleep eyes that open and shut easily, painted lower lashes and a red painted mouth that is open to receive a bottle. Her head paint is somewhat pale.  She has cute little applied rubber ears that are intact with a tiny bit of cracking. The back of her neck is embossed Effanbee.  Her plastic head is in very good shape with a shallow dig line on her forehead.  Her rubber torso is in good shape with a thin line of blue ink drawn accentuating her back side.  On her back here is a series of patent numbers embossed for the U.S.A., England, France and Germany, ending in #21539 patent pending.  Her right rubber swivel arm is in pretty bad shape with cracking, chipping and a hole at the inner elbow.  Her left arm has a bit of light surface chipping, not too bad.  Her legs are in good shape with a small amount of bump wear at the heels and toes.  She is dressed in a "Nanette" labeled pink dotted swiss baby dress and pink knit panties with a stretched waist.  She is a cutie with a really bad right arm, being sold as is.
