ADORABLE 13 INCH IDEAL GINGER DOLL - COMPOSITION - ORIGINAL w/ EXTRA CLOTHES

13-inch Composition Ideal Ginger
This sweet little doll is NOT a Shirley Temple doll, although she was made by Ideal.  The doll is Ginger and was made between 1934 and 1937 and used the same bodies as the Shirley dolls but the dolls have a dimple in the chin instead of the cheeks - as a true Shirley does.  Of course, she was often mistaken for a Shirley, which Ideal must have enjoyed since it did not have to pay royalties on the Ginger dolls.
This Ginger is wearing what is likely her original dress - although not tagged - and onesie, shoes and socks.  She also comes with another onesie and a pink slip - which also look original. Her original mohair wig retains most of it's original curls.  Her paint is bright.
She has faint crazing on her face and three dark marks.  I am not sure what they are and did not want to damage her while trying to remove them.  Her brown eyes are clear and bright and she has all her lashes.  She also has faint crazing on her arms and body with more extensive crazing on her legs (please see pictures of this as they are considered part of the description.  I have not taken off her shoes, but her feet feel like they are all there.  She is loose and should be restrung.
She is faintly marked Ideal Made in USA on the back of her head and USA 13 on her back.
While Ginger is not perfect, she is still very cute and displays quite nicely.
