ANTIQUE COMPOSITION EFFANBEE PATSY JR. DOLL WITH ORIGINAL BOX
11" TALL. ALL ORIGINAL
Condition is used.
This adorable Patsy Jr. is all original, dressed in a PINK organdy dress WITH MATCHING bonnet and Onsie. She also has her original socks and undamaged shoes. Original stringing could use a bit of tightening. Tiny eye crack and missing eyelashes on one eye. The composition is in terrific condition. I removed her bonnet and her painted hair appears near perfect.  I think she is an early Patsy Jr.  Some paint wear around the metal bracelet and one knee. I didn’t try to repair it. Some elastic pulled around the legs on the onsie that has the attached slip. I know buyers want untouched dolls. And who can't resist the folded cloth diaper and pillow in the box by some child to keep her safe. I have added additional clothing that may not be true Patsy Jr. but fit like it...
I just read that Patsy dolls where created by Bernard Lipfert for Effanbee. He also did Shirley Temple dolls. This was in Doll News in 2012.
Magazine is not included.
