She is elegantly dressed in a silk dress with a velveteen vine design and a plunging v-neck surrounded by black sequin beads. She has a long black silk wrap, a black and white bracelet, and black patent high heeled shoes. She is wearing “nylon”stockings and has red polish on her finger nails! A white satin petticoat is under her dress. Her left wrist has an official tag around it that says “BrendaStarr.” Her right wrist has a bracelet and the Effanbee Brenda Starr original booklet-tag giving a short biography of the cartoonist who created Brenda Starr for a comic strip and stock number of this doll showing
