Rare Vintage Effanbee Dewees Cochran Boy Composition Doll 17” 1939. Condition is “Used”. Shipped with USPS priority mail .00. From a non-smoking home. PLEASE LOOK AT ALL OF THE PICTURES.
• Doll has various cracks and crazing, including a big crack on his foot
• Doll is marked on his back - Effanbee U.S.A.
• Do NOT believe his wig to be original
• Doll appears to have painted nails
• Doll appears to have been repainted or repaired or both on his leg and arm joints
• Doll has some wear on hands/fingers and feet/toes
• Do NOT believe the outfit to be original
• The shoes, look to be pretty old but maybe the inside bottom layer aren’t original, appear to be for a girl doll and maybe the “heel” of the shoes are missing; they have some wear and are kinda coming apart in one area mainly
• The white shirt has some minor stains/discoloring
• The yellow pants appear to be in pretty good condition
• The sweater has a couple/few holes and maybe some minor stains/discoloring
• The hat is in pretty good condition and appears to be homemade
The vast majority of the items have been in my home for many years, some up to 30. Some were purchases along the way, and on eBay in the last 10 years or so.
*  I am sorry that I am not able to describe these items in better detail, my grandmother knew this stuff backward and forwards but unfortunately she is no longer with us.
*  Nothing I have is a museum piece, these were just collected through the years from all over the place, mostly doll shows and doll shops in Texas.
*  Most of these items are from a collection that spanned 50 years, many of these dolls may have been touched up, repainted, repaired, etc.  Some I can tell and some I just don't know.
*  I am no expert on the
originality
of clothes, hair, accessories etc. Please looks at the pictures and go from there.
*  Items are from a non-smoking home.
* I will combine shipping in most cases (as long as the auctions end in the same few days), just wait for the auctions to end and contact me.
* I have sold stuff on and off for over 20 years on Ebay, under this same name.  If there is a problem please contact me and I will try to work it out. This is not something I am doing just to make a quick buck.
*  Shipping can be expensive, please keep in mind that the actual cost paid to the post office is not the true cost, eBay includes that amount when I am charged fees which is around 13%, If you win an auction and you get your item and you feel your were unfairly charged then contact me about a refund. I loose money on shipping at times, it just comes with the territory.
* I have a very large collection and I intend to list a lot of items in the near future. I have way more items than I can probably ever list.
