This chime has never been outside, it was taking out of the box unwrap from the plastic and hung in the closet for quite a while, so it is not 100% new. It may have a tiny tiny tiny mark on it, as it hung it closet it got bump and chimed a time or two. It is 99.9% percent perfect.
