Vintage Dewees Cochran? Effanbee Anne-Shirley Compo 14” Doll American Children? Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail .00. From a non-smoking home. PLEASE LOOK AT ALL OF THE PICTURES.
• Doll has very minor crazing and marks
• Her eyes are dark, like discolored and kinda crystallized a bit
• Doll has painted fingernails
• She is missing one of her hair ribbons
• I do believe the outfit to be original
• The dress is tagged - Effanbee Durable Dolls
• Part of the elastic on one of the sleeves of the dress does appear to have gone out
• The white part of the collar of the dress does have some stains/discoloring
• Parts of the dress may have been re-sewn but overall it appears to be pretty original
• The elastic on the under outfit has gone out and one of the legs, at the bottom, appears to have maybe been repaired, like re-stitched
• The coat does have some stains/discoloring on the white part
• There is some stitching on the coat that don’t appear to be original, like a bit on the collar, mainly on the inside, and the bottom of the sleeves, on the inside, where the white fabric is
• On the coat, the buttons may not be original, maybe even the buckle clasp thing, but if they were, they were probably re-sewn, at least the buttons probably were if they were original
• The hat appears to be in pretty good shape
• The socks appear to have some discoloring, maybe stains
• The shoes appear to be in pretty good shape but part of the heel appears to be missing on one of the shoes
• Overall, the doll and the outfit are in pretty great condition
The vast majority of the items have been in my home for many years, some up to 30. Some were purchases along the way, and on eBay in the last 10 years or so.
*  I am sorry that I am not able to describe these items in better detail, my grandmother knew this stuff backward and forwards but unfortunately she is no longer with us.
*  Nothing I have is a museum piece, these were just collected through the years from all over the place, mostly doll shows and doll shops in Texas.
*  Most of these items are from a collection that spanned 50 years, many of these dolls may have been touched up, repainted, repaired, etc.  Some I can tell and some I just don't know.
*  I am no expert on the
originality
of clothes, hair, accessories etc. Please looks at the pictures and go from there.
*  Items are from a non-smoking home.
* I will combine shipping in most cases (as long as the auctions end in the same few days), just wait for the auctions to end and contact me.
* I have sold stuff on and off for over 20 years on Ebay, under this same name.  If there is a problem please contact me and I will try to work it out. This is not something I am doing just to make a quick buck.
*  Shipping can be expensive, please keep in mind that the actual cost paid to the post office is not the true cost, eBay includes that amount when I am charged fees which is around 13%, If you win an auction and you get your item and you feel your were unfairly charged then contact me about a refund. I loose money on shipping at times, it just comes with the territory.
* I have a very large collection and I intend to list a lot of items in the near future. I have way more items than I can probably ever list.
