Vintage Effanbee Old McDonald # 1182 Tags and Box. 1980s Rare/htf

Description

For auction is this unusual and hard to find Effanbee doll entitled Old McDonald. He is every bit the farmer in his suspendered  jeans, brown boots, straw hat (fixed), neckerchief and pipe (complete with "smoke"). Jeans snap at the back and he has a handkerchief in his back pocket. He carries a straw basket with an apple.
The hang tags on his right wrist are classic Effanbee. I am not sure if the brown barrel is original, but it was in the box, so I am including it. The box is original with doll name and number visible, but the lid is faded overall. The sole of his left boot is missing; it does not interfere with standing and it is not visible normally.
This doll belongs to my daughter and was purchased for her. The doll was removed from the box, but returned soon after and remained boxed for years. It is safe to say that you never see this one around! Please e-mail me with any questions prior to bidding. Thanks.
